- What about your situation IS working for you?
- What about your situation IS NOT working for you?
- What is most essential to you?
- Why do you want to get organized?
- What is standing in the way of your getting or staying organized?
- What, if anything, have you tried before to get organized?
- Is the disorganization chronic? (You get organized but aren't able to stay organized. Standard organizing systems don't work for you.)
- Is the lack of order unusual, the result of a life-changing event like a new job, a move, a marriage, a divorce, a birth, a death?
- Do you need help with time management, paper management, information management and/or space management?
- Do you need overall space and/or storage planning first?
- Do you need hands-on help working through each step of the organizing process or do you just need a plan to get you going?
- How will you know when you're organized?
